LESSON 2 - HISTORY VICTORIAN CRIME
We have two history lessons today! How exciting! Firstly we explore Victorian crime rates and how they changed. We also go a little deeper into the world of the pickpocket!!!
Now enjoy these two film clips form Oliver Twist. The first scene shows Dodger (leader of the pickpockets) befriending Oliver (orphan) on the streets of London. He makes Oliver feel special. The second clip is Oliver arriving at Dodgers hideout - were a group of boys (pickpockets) live with Fagin- criminal. Fagan and boys show Oliver how to pickpockets like it is a fun game!!!
