Merry Christmas one and all!!!! Have a happy and Holy Holiday for Year 2

We have reached the end of this long and special half term. Jesus is almost here and we welcome him in readiness and love.

This final week has been packed with lovely memory making moments! At the heart of everything has been our “Kindness Advent Calendar” each day we have performed acts of kindness to help us remember that loving others is what Jesus asks us to do.

On Monday, we joined the whole community in church for the KS2 Christmas concert - it was beautiful. On Tuesday we read instructions in class to make Bethlehem stables to hang on your trees - we hope you loved receiving them. On Wednesday we were creatively Christmassy in our computing lesson and our Elves chairs are finished - we hope they appreciate them!! In addition, we joined Miss Drummond (who we love!) to have our enrichment time! To finish our history topic on Florence Nightingale we invited a modern day angel to class - Mrs Needham came to tell us all about nursing today. It is fair to says she shared with us all the amazingly compassionate things she does every day - thank you for inspiring us. We have been to the pantomime “in class” and of course we danced and played at the annual Christmas party. A week full of joy and friendship! Talking of friendship you’ll never guess who came to class ….. yes FATHER CHRISTMAS!!

Below are special pictures you may want to save!
