“Almost all creativity involves purposeful play.” ~ Abraham Maslow

It never ceases to amaze me how creative the children are, when it comes to their lunchtime play. The playground becomes a mystical world of unicorns, super heroes, a pets paradise and more besides. The Mound becomes Mount Everest, the bars, tree tops in the depths of the Amazon and the climbing frame, a volcanic island where the floor is lave. Shopkeeper, sell their wares, as giants stomp around looking for a tasty treat. Team games are played with the cooperation of all and races are won, with applause for all. The list is endless!

The playground, is truly a place where the children can be.
