"I do wander everywhere, Swifter than the moon's sphere; And I serve the fairy queen" Fairy - W. Shakespeare

Dear Parents,

We come to the end of a very unexpected journey! It has been tough at times but always rewarding. Your children are a credit to you and it has been a privilege to teach them. I speak on behalf of the whole team (we are a large team: Mrs Harrison, Mrs Nel, Mrs Russell and myself) when I say goodbye, God bless always.

See you from a distance in Year 6 in September.

There are many things we were not able to do this year - we always go to the theatre to watch a Shakespeare play and work with other school in the Blackpool RSC Hub! Despite not being able to this, we have studied Hamlet and A Midsummer Nights Dream! Over the past fortnight we have explored the the four words that collide in this play: The Lovers, The Court, The Fairies and the Mechanicals. We explored what the fairies may have been like - we got our inspiration from images of many different productions of this funny, fantastical play. Some of our fairies are more “thug-like” than fairy and you wouldn’t want to mess with them!!! Please enjoy our films. We split into 3 groups to recreate Act 2 Scene 2 - enjoy!!
