Year 5 Monday 8th February Remote Learning

Good morning Year 5!

Good morning Year 5 - this week is our final week before we break for half term. We will be finishing our History lessons looking at modern crime and Victorian crime and punishment. We will be writing another news report- independently this time - reporting on a crime!!! When we return after half term we will turn to science and SPACE!!! I have never taught a class that didn’t over flow with curiosity about Space!

After our council meeting on Friday I have also added this healthy snack list! Thank you Zac

MATHS WARM-UP - TT ROCKSTARS

DURATION LESSON 4: To explore Ostinatos

This lesson starts with a welcome song, 'Funga Alafia', followed by an exploration of ostinatos - repeated rhythms or patterns. Sounds fun!!!


Finally - quiet time - WORSHIP

Today we have a beautiful film to watch. It is a modern interpretation of the beatitudes in the words of a child. Watch it the first time. When you play it a second time - close your eyes and listen to the words. Which words move you? Speak to you?
