Time has flown this week, the children are blowing us away with their enthusiasm to grow their brains and get ready for Year One!

What a week…sunshine, strawberries and sports day! I was so proud of the children on sports day they showed determination, resilience, enthusiasm and brilliant teamwork! Most importantly we all had such fun.

This week we thought about our unique gifts and talents and how we can use them in a generous way towards others.

It has been a great week to end the half term. The children definitely deserve a big rest after working so hard this half term

What a productive week we have had in Reception, so much learning and fun!

We’ve seen some fantastic outlooks to learning this week, we are so keen to grow our brains and use our knowledge within our play, it has been an absolute joy to see. Inspired by Sadie Spider, we have not given up when things seem tricky at first!

It has been a busy week in Reception, I think we are all ready for a long weekend to recharge our batteries! We have seen brilliant moments of team work this week, supporting our friends in their achievements, when they are sad or when they need and extra pair of hands.

We started the week retelling the story of the Three Little Pigs, then on Wednesday what a surprise we had, when a wolf knocked on our door.

We are a most definitely a class full of Sadie spiders this week, showing resilience and determination throughout our learning.

Another term has finished! Time certainly does fly when you’re having fun! It’s been a whirlwind few weeks and returning to school brought challenges for us all but we did it, as a team!

Disaster stuck when Miss Lavelle forgot to put the beans outside. We arrived on Wednesday to find and enormous beanstalk had broken through the roof!

Everything was going well until Wednesday lunch time…when all our construction toys disappeared!

It has been wonderful to have a full classroom again and was an absolute joy to see how happy the children were to return on Monday morning. The children have thoroughly enjoyed seeing friends they have missed and exploring the classroom.

Another lovely week is over! One more week, let’s dig deep, with prayer, love and hope we can do this together! I cannot wait for the classroom to be full and buzzing with excitement again.

What perfect timing for the iris, we planted at the start of the year, to blossom. A lovely sign of hope, just when we need it most!

What a fantastic week we have had! We have got stuck in to the activities in our new timetable and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This week has definitely been a lot calmer here in school, hopefully at home you are getting into a routine as a family with all the things you are juggling. I think you are all doing a fantastic job, the beaming smiles on the pictures and videos you are sending me say it all!
