What a day! this morning I was worried I may have to cancel our trip but we managed to get out. Thank you to our wonderful helpers we would not be able to go on these trips without you. Before we went on our trip we needed to find out what Human and Physical features were, we learnt about them in geography and had to sort out the different pictures. We ended our week with a geography trip to St Annes Beach, on the way to the beach we identified the human and physical features. We played with the parachute on the beach we had so much fun.

In Maths we have been practising counting in 2s, 5s and 10s can you try this at home?

We learnt about the Last Supper in RE can your child remember what happened, what was the special promise Jesus made to the apostles?

Tea Dance

We enjoyed another session, our dance is looking great, it is our last session with Sarah next week.

Just a reminder of the details: it is on Tuesday 26th March at Marine Hall, Fleetwood 12:30 -2:00 and the cost is £3 per child for the transport. This is on Parent Pay. The children will be back at school for hometime.

If you have any green, grey, organge or brown T-shirts please can you bring them in and black leggings/trousers (please note that your child may not be wearing the T-shirt you bring in, please label them). Please do not buy anything, we have things we can use in our drama cupboard too. These are for our costumes. Thank you :)

We have loved learning about Learie Constantine, Simone Biles and Marcus Rashford, ask your child what can they remember? On Monday we played cricket in PE, Mr Nay, Mr Murry and myself were very impressed. On Wednesday we learnt more about Learie and made our own posters with sporting facts we had learnt about him.

Let’s Celebrate:

Lunchtime awards:

Well done to our Role Model Heidi and George for his Marvellous Manners

Well done to our certificate awardees: a ‘Sadie Spider’ for his determination with his reading and a Roger Robin for being a kind friend and a super partner in RWI.

This person is taking Henry home for a good week and catching up with your RWI sounds you missed when you were ill, well done :).

Well done to these children, they have recieved their Bronze reading award, I know there are lots that are very close, don’t forget to sign in their books.

Upcoming dates and Reminders:

Parents’s Meetings

It was lovely to talk to you about your children, I have loved watching their confidence and independence grow. I am looking foward to seeing the rest of you on Wednesday 20th March.

  • Polite reminder that all children across school should bring water in their bottles and not juice. This is something that we discuss regularly in school as part of our discussions about healthy snacks and healthy lunches. Please can you bring in healthy snacks please refer to the poster for suitable snack, we always have fruit avalible too.

  • Please can you bring/keep spare uniform in bags, as the weather has been wet recently, children have fallen over in puddles and it can sometimes be tricky finding spare uniform for them in the right size.
